My Experiences of Reading Book Review

Hello loyal readers of my blog, welcome back to my blog.
This time I will share my experience after visiting my friend's blog / reading a synopsis from my friend's book. Come see!

My experience after reading my friends' blog, I got new information about their books, increased insight, and new vocabulary that I could get from writing their book.

First, I get new information about books that have been read by my friends, who is the author, where they are published, and I also know the intrinsic elements of the book.

Then the second, can add insight. after I read their blog I felt that my insights were increasing in the knowledge gained from their books whether they were insights about life sciences or other knowledge that could add to my insight.

Then the third, my vocabulary also increases. How? Because many words I don't know, then when I read that I did not understand the meaning of the sentence, yes after I translate it turned out there was another meaning of the word. Well that's where my vocabulary can increase.

Reading is profitable right? So, that's why let's read so that we can get new information, new insights and new vocabulary. Because that will someday be useful for us. Thank you loyal readers of my blog.

There is speculation that Leonardo had suffered a stroke in the last year before his death, and that his left hand was partially paralyzed. He had trouble standing, and relied on his companions daily. His was an old age in the early sixteenth century, and his life had been filled to the brim with all he could squeeze into it. Chapter 9
" Facts about Leonardo da Vinci "

Leonardo da Vinci was quite possibly one of the greatest minds to ever walk the earth. He had an interest in so many things, and he never stopped learning. His genius did not lay in one area only; people cannot simply state that he had a masterful mind in art, architecture, engineering, or sculpting. Leonardo was a genius at all of these and many more things. Most everyone knows of his famous paintings of the Mona Lisa or The Last Supper, but there are other things he did which don’t get a lot of publicity. Here are a few of those. Leonardo da Vinci could explain why the sky is blue. People in his day and age didn’t have the capabilities to explain much about science, let alone a simple question from a child. could we call Leonardo an early pet advocate. One of his habits was to go into the marketplace, buy caged animals, bring them home, and set them free. That was his only intention. And he never forgot the less fortunate than himself either. He always welcomed his friends and gave them food—rich or poor. Leonardo da Vinci, for all he came to know and understand in the world, was not formally educated. Being an illegitimate son, his father felt there was no need to educate him well early on. So he was mostly home schooled while living in his grandfather’s house. Traditional subjects like Latin and Greek remained a mystery to him until he taught himself these things later in life.

Leonardo Da Vinci : Review Chapter 1 - 3

CHAPTER 1 : Early Beginnings and the Italian Renaissance

This chapter tells Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452, in the Tuscan hill town, Vinci. His mother, Caterina, was a peasant girl and was not married to Leonardo's father, Piero Fruosino in Antonio da Vinci, who was quite wealthy. Leonardo did not have a last name, but was known as part of Leonardo, which (Leonardo da Vinci means) "Leonardo, (son) of (Mes) ser Piero of Vinci. ". His father never married his mother, but was only involved romantically. Leonardo lived in Anchiano in his mother's house for five years. In 1457 he founded a shared house, grandparents, and uncle in the small town of Vinci. Leonardo received adequate education, studied basic Latin, mathematics, and geography. Leonardo was also born during the Italian Renaissance. The Italian Renaissance is famous for its emerging art and architecture and new philosophy throughout the European countries today. Trust held firmly at that time is about life, death, and everything that is hung now. The Italian Renaissance developed in central Italy in the region known as Tuscany. That period was the time of Italy where Leonardo da Vinci was born. Only people who can read and write, Leonardo, known as Verrocchio, have one of Florence's best works. Because he argued that these steps would be beneficial for Leonardo, because he wanted to be an artist like him. Leonardo was happy to do was a mirror of writing. Because he is left-handed, he will write from right to left on the page. Florence is a city of craftsmen. Florence is home to several artists. There are sculptors, donuts, and architects Filippo brunelleschi, along with many other painters too. One time Leonardo entered the study of art, he admired it and became enamored with art. His father had just remarried, but his new wife, Francesca lanfredini, who was 16 years old, took Leonardo's interest a little. In fact, he was only three years younger than Leonardo. His father found several pictures in the room. he immediately agreed that Leonardo was gifted and wanted to rotate studies as an apprentice. Leonardo was very happy, because his dream became a fact. internships in those days usually begin in ten years, while Leonardo has finished fourteen. internship is a period of learning to learn crafts. Another is Sandro Botticelli, who was painted in the birth of Venus 20 years ago by having been in a workshop all the big time, Leonardo and the other apprentices immediately studied the Master's artist technique. They began rounds of artwork long before ever taking brushes. Then for sketches and study and internships and learning sculptures. They learned how to dig clay or wax, and practiced repeatedly how to draw a fold of curtains that had been made from a wet cloth on plaster. The Lost World Novel

Hello loyal readers! Welcome back in my blog.
This time i will explain the Synopsis of The Lost World Novel.

Title     : The Lost World
Writer  : Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Page    : 304 Pages

Synopsis : In a scientific meeting at the Institute of Zoological Institute's Hall, London, an intelligent but eccentric doctor named Dr. Challenger made a scene throughout the audience with his claim about a lost world. In a previous adventure in remote parts of the Amazon, South America, the old man claimed to have found specimens from the ancient world, a giant Pterodactyl carcass. Unfortunately, the specimen was lost when the boat was turned upside down in the river. The audience doubted his claim, assuming that his lecture was nothing more than the chatter of an old scientist who failed on his research journey. Until then Dr. Challenger proposed a challenge to show the truth of his claim. To the assembly, he requested that a special team be led by Dr. Summerlee to investigate the truth of the story about the lost world. The team consists of Mr. Summerlee (representative of the Zoological Institute), Lord Roxton (adventurous nobility), and Ed Malone (journalist from the Gazette). It was from Malone that this story was told.

Long story short, the three immediately left for a location that was deliberately kept secret in remote South America, where they found their first surprise: Dr. Challenge. Secretly, the doctor was eccentric but mighty followed the expedition team and decided they would become leaders and guide them. Finding a lost world is not an easy matter. There must be a reason why prehistoric creatures could still exist millions of years after their extinction. Armed with memories and journal books from a shepherd from the United States, the team set off along the Amazon tributary before then entering the largest tropical wilderness in the world that still remains: the Amazon Forest. This part is the most interesting because readers like being invited to hit the forest, along a river full of crocodiles, stepping in a swamp that is also the most venomous snake nest, to penetrate bamboo forests that are so tight. It seems that these natural barriers keep the location of the 'lost world' hidden. This is still aided by myths among Indians who indeed absorbed the haunted area.

Supported by objective thinking and scientific enthusiasm, Dr. The Challenger finally managed to reach the secret plateau where the lost world was located. Unfortunately, the plateau had a very steep, very high wall, and was impossible to climb. This is the last natural barrier that ironically becomes a protector for prehistoric creatures who dwell on it. Only with struggle and unyielding spirit, the team finally managed to climb onto the plateau, only to find horrors they had never imagined. In that place, they turned into the hunted party. Giant animals that are only in sketchbooks and museums suddenly appear before them. And the animals are very wild. In addition, the team still has to face other enemies who are far more dangerous than dinosaurs. Those who are said to be missing links appear again and occupy their positions in the food chain as hunters. And humans are their prey.

Thanks for reading!!!

Education System in a Country

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog and happy to re-read the contents of my 4th blog. This time I will briefly explain Education System in Argentina.

Early education in Argentina begins at the age of five where the person will study in the preschool stage. After that, students will go through three stages of compulsory education for three years for each stage.

The first and second stages, called EGB1 and EGB2, are in primary school between the ages of 6 and 11. Then the third stage is in low school or EGB3 (at the age of 11 to 14 years). In Argentina, people are not required through secondary school education.

Due to economic factors, many Argentines, especially from the lower classes, did not continue their studies at the university. However, in the 1930s, the country was famous for its advanced education system. Now, in the capital there are about 50 colleges.

In 1996, in an effort to close the gap between rich and poor, the Argentine government had begun a program called "Programa Nacional de Becas Estudiantiles" (PNBE), which subsidized poor students who wished to continue their studies in secondary school. Between 1997 and 2000, the program provided scholarships to 170,000 poor high school students who received USD $ 600 per year.

Recently, the World Bank has provided loans of USD $ 56.99 million to improve the quality and opportunity to continue their education to secondary schools in the province of Buenos Aires, to 60,000 students from universities. This loan is based on the Buenos Aires Secondary Education Project (BASSEP) program which wants to introduce Jornada Completa Schedule. The project targets students from poor low schools who often leave school when they reach the age of 15 due to the economic downturn. An estimated 50% of poor students from low schools are students who leave school.

Based on this new project, school schedules are added from four hours to seven to eight hours a day. This means students will learn more lessons compared to the past. In addition, schools in Buenos Aires receive assistance in terms of reference materials, libraries, facilities for science and technology and so on. Around 200 schools were involved in this project.

How To Motivate The Opposite Sex

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog and happy to re-read the contents of my 3rd blog.

This time I will briefly explain one of the chapters of a book entitled "MEN ARE FROM MARS, WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS" and the chapter entitled "How to Motivate the Opposite Sex".

                                 *PictBy: Google

Chapter 4: How to Motivate the Opposite Sex
A man's instinct is to take care of himself, even if it means sacrificing others, women's instincts are caring for others, even if it means sacrificing themselves. In relationships, a man must learn how to care for his partner rather than sacrifice his needs for himself, and a woman must learn how to be cared for by her partner rather than sacrificing her own needs for her, so that the needs of both are met. If they succeed in doing this, then both win, unlike their instinctive behavior where one wins from the other.
This must work, because if one partner feels their efforts towards the relationship are not successful in pleasing their partner, they may feel hurt and decide to return to their instinctive behavior. Unfortunately this then causes other partners to do the same thing, and the possibility of a relationship worsening is inevitable.
In a relationship, men need to feel that their attention is needed, and a woman needs to feel that her needs are being met. To achieve this, a man must express his desire to fulfill his needs and eligibility to receive care, and a woman must express her desire to be cared for in fulfilling her needs properly. Both must remember to respect, accept, and forgive others, and avoid blaming them when they fail.

A little useful isn't it? Hehehe. Hopefully every reader who reads my writing this time they can understand it and tell their partner that now we know that the man needs recognition and the woman needs attention, right? hehehehe.

thank you for reading :) .

Naming Traditions

Hello, loyal readers of my blog, welcome back to my blog. In my previous article I discussed an article entitled "The Meaning of a Name" right? And in my second article I will still discuss the same theme, namely NAME but another title with before, this time the title of my second article is "Naming Tradition".

Every nation must have a different naming tradition. Many uniqueness and distinctiveness of every nation. One of them is the Russian naming tradition that I will explain in this article. Russian names generally consist of 3 parts, namely: first name, middle name and surname. Middle names and surnames have been available since they were born. Therefore, parents only give 1 child their name.

                                *Russian People

     1. First Name
There are some of the most common and popular Russian names not only in the country but also in the World. One of the most common and popular names is Ivan, even the name is often used as a nickname to refer to Russian men.

Other common and popular Russian male names include Vladimir, Dmitry, Boris, Igor, Nikolay, Sergey, Alexander, Roman, Mikhail and Viktor.
While the most common and popular female names include: Svetlana, Natalya, Anastasia, Tatyana, Lyudmila, Yulya and Ekaterina

One of the peculiarities of Russian names is the diminutive form of their first name. Diminutive is a word that has little meaning, in this context what is meant is a little name or a favorite call. This favorite nickname or call is generally used in family and friendship circles, in an unofficial setting.

Here's an example of a nickname or favorite call:
Aleksandr becomes Sasha, Sanya, Shurik, Shura, Aleksandrushka
Dmitrii becomes Dima, Mitya, Dimulya
Nataliya became Natasha, Nata, Talia, Natulia, Tashenka
Elena became Lena, Lenulia, Lenusia

     2. Middle Name
The Russian middle name is what is called patronomyc. Patronomyc is a component of names taken from the father's name. Giving a middle name taken from the name of this father is inseparable from the patriarchal culture of the thick Russian people.

During the Ryurik Dynasty, the addition of -ich on "otchestvo" was only allowed by the nobility. Since the 19th century, after the abolition of slavery in Russia, it was only possible to use the common people.

The naming system is as follows:
The male middle name ends with –ovich or –evich, for example: Sergey becomes Sergeyevich
The woman's middle name ends with –ovna or –evna, for example Sergey becomes Sergeyevna
 3. Family Name (Marga)
The Russian family name is very typical and is only similar to some Slavic families. The peculiarities of the Russian surname can be seen from the suffix of the name.

     Here's an example:
End with –ov, for example: Ivanov. For women to be Ivanova
End with –in, for example: Pushkin. For women to be Pushkina
End with -oi (or oy), for example: Tolstoi (Tolstoy). For women to become Tolstaia (Tolstaya)
End with –ii (or y), for example: Dostoevskii (Dostoevsky). For women to be Dostoevskaia (Dostoevskaya)

Currently there are some parents in Russia who give their children first names with foreign names instead of Russian or Slavic names. However, they still use the naming system with 3 names consisting of first name, middle name (derived from father's name) and surname.

So many historical traditions of giving someone a name in the country of Russia, Thank you for reading and hopefully useful.

Meaning Of Name

                    *Photo : My Doc

Hello guys, In my first post on this blog, I will explain the meaning of a Name.

Name Is the identity of every human being. without having a name, the human identity cannot be known, even the Prophet Muhammad advised his followers to respect children born with good names, because "Name Is Prayer".

Many people complained on behalf of their parents to them. the reasons are various, meaning bad, not worth listening to and others. But, to me that doesn't matter, because I know that every parent names his child with the best name choice, so I appreciate what my parents have given and I always remember the words of the Prophet Muhammad that "Name Is Prayer", so I always thinking positively on my behalf, maybe my parents gave me the name and prayer for me.

                            *Photo : My Doc

This time I will explain my own name. CHANDRA SETIAWAN is an interesting name isn't it? maybe everyone can interpret my name as Faithful Friend? actually it's not that, maybe it's just a glimpse of the word SETIAWAN. CHANDRA means MOON and SETIAWAN which means FAITHFUL TO THE END. So, you can imagine the meaning is very interesting isn't it? THE FAITHFUL MOON ILLUMINATE TO THE END. he he he

Speaking long about names, at first glance in my mind, I want to give a name to my future child soon, even though it is still very long or very long because I am still in college and there is no intention to get married hehehe. it doesn't seem to matter to think about that, maybe for a while because I haven't discussed with my family with my future wife later hehehe, let's refer to his name. For my son, I will give the name FARREL PUTRA SETIAWAN, so it can be concluded that the FAITHFUL TREATMENT IS UP TO THE END. while for women will be named AZKIA PUTRI SETIAWAN.

So, for those of you who have been given a name with your parents, be proud of that name because that is a prayer from parents given to you. and for those who will have children, name them as best they can and do not carelessly give names, because that is a prayer for them later.

That's all from me and thank you for reading.
